Code of Conduct for Teachers

  • Professional Integrity: Teachers should maintain the highest standards of professional ethics, act with honesty, and avoid any form of discrimination based on religion, caste, gender, or socioeconomic status.
  • Academic Responsibility: Ensure thorough preparation for lectures, engage in continuous learning, and contribute actively to curriculum development. Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and practical learning among students.
  • Respect and Courtesy: Maintain a respectful relationship with students, colleagues, and administrative staff. Address grievances in a timely and fair manner.
  • Non-exploitation: Avoid exploiting students for personal gain in terms of money, services, or any other benefits.
  • Confidentiality: Respect the privacy of students and colleagues, maintaining confidentiality regarding academic records and personal information.
  • Disciplinary Role: Promote discipline among students and be role models of ethical behavior. Avoid encouraging any form of academic dishonesty.
  • Participation in College Activities: Actively engage in college activities such as seminars, workshops, sports, and cultural events. Assist in the organization of institutional programs.
  • Adherence to Policies: Abide by the rules and regulations set by the college and affiliating university.

Code of Conduct for Non-Teaching Staff

  • Work Ethics: Maintain punctuality, sincerity, and dedication in all official duties. Ensure accuracy and promptness in handling administrative tasks.
  • Professional Behavior: Treat students, teachers, and visitors with respect. Avoid any behavior that may reflect poorly on the institution.
  • Confidentiality: Safeguard the confidentiality of official documents, records, and any sensitive information related to the college.
  • Student Assistance: Provide courteous and helpful services to students regarding administrative and support matters.
  • Responsibility and Accountability: Ensure that college property, equipment, and resources are used properly and responsibly.
  • Personal Conduct: Refrain from engaging in activities that could bring disrepute to the institution, such as accepting bribes or engaging in unauthorized activities.
  • Adherence to Policies: Follow the rules and guidelines prescribed by the college management.

Code of Conduct for Students

  • Academic Integrity: Refrain from academic dishonesty, such as cheating or plagiarism. Respect intellectual property and ensure proper citations in academic work.
  • Attendance and Participation: Attend classes regularly, participate actively in academic and extracurricular activities, and comply with the prescribed attendance criteria.
